IPv6 is now officially supported on NG Firewall.

NG Firewall supports IPv6 passthrough. In bridge mode, IPv6 packets will be passed through to the gateway appropriately allowing IPv6 networks to run NG Firewall with interference.

Phase 2 - IPv6 Configuration

June 2013 (10.0)

Complete

NG Firewall supports IPv6 configuration. This enables administrators to configure Untangle with an IPv6 address(es) and IPv6 routing information.

Phase 3 - IPv6 Application processing

Planned

NG Firewall will support application-layer processing of IPv6 sessions and the applications will support processing of IPv6 addresses.
