IPSec VPN: planned?

Untangle is for many reasons closest to what I'm looking for (actually, if I could combine the feature set of Vyatta and Untangle, I'd be in networking heaven).

However, despite of it all, I *must* have IPSec VPN support, because there are third party sites I need to connect with, and they are not going to change their IP infrastructure because of that, and there are certain policies against third party software in place, which would suggest the use of OS vendor supplied LT2P over IPSec for our laptop toting road warriors.

In short, the recurring theme here is IPSec, and Untangle (currently?) only offers OpenVPN.

So, is IPSec just not implemented yet, or is this one of these philosophical/quasi-religious decisions that are part of many projects, where it was decided that for some reason or another IPSec just isn't desirable as part of Untangle?
