Forget my comments below. I was on Step 3 when I was confronted with the vmware wizard's questions. I should have read the entire procedure before starting on Step 1. I was so excited that I didn't read Step 4, which says that the Untangle virtual appliance does all the work for me. How cool. Thank you! Sorry for cluttering this page.
Resume-writer 18:24, 12 September 2007 (PDT) Thank you so much for this procedure! This procedure assumes that the virtual machine was created in advance, right? I don't currently have a vm for my Untangle. If I want to run the Untangle in production, is it possible to just accept the defaults that the New Virtual Machine Wizard suggests, then go back in and use the Editor? Also, how much disk space should I give the Untangle? Should I give the virtual machine 80 GB mentioned under Hardware Requirements?
