Reinstalling Software Products
One of the unique features of the Untangle Server is the ability to add and remove Software Products to fit the needs of your business. Each Software Product has a dedicated function to enhance your network, and can be installed and configured independently of other Software Products. This procedure assumes that you want to install the Software Products in the Default Rack. For more complex deployments, you can create custom virtual racks.
Before You Begin: If you have not yet downloaded the Software Product that you want to install, go to the Library. Immediately after you download the Software Product, the Untangle Client automatically installs the Software Product, so you can skip this procedure. The following procedure assumes that you have downloaded the Software Product which you want to reinstall, and that it was removed from your rack at some point in the past.
To reinstall a Software Product:
- From the Navigation Pane, click My Apps tab.
- In My Apps, click the Software Product that you want to install.
- The Software Product installs into the rack to the right and then automatically turns on. OpenVPN and Router are the only Software Products that do not automatically turn on. Once installed, each Software Product shows its faceplate as shown in Figure, Software Product Faceplate.
- The Untangle Client prevents you from installing multiple copies of any Software Product into the same rack.

If you change your mind and want to uninstall or unsubscribe from a Software Product, go to the Library.
